Canada Part 2 - K3

After four awesome days at Monshee Powder we went to K3, a catboarding operation based out of Sicamous in British Columbia. This time we didn't stay up in a lodge but at the Best Western in Sicamous: super nice rooms, with huge flat screens and huge beds to rest after those long days on the mountain.

At the Best Western in Sicamous there were some badass trucks and sleds...the one on the right is Mario's truck, it looks tiny compared to the others

The crew getting ready for the "beacon rescue training" before getting out there. The best trainig so far!

Nico already spotted his line...he didn't know that due to the strong wind from the previews days the bowl was not open...bummer

Me and Mario calling  "shot gun" for every features we saw...too bad we didn't have time enough to shoot all of them

After a nice blue bird day another storm came in...a good reset of 30 cm made us really happy

Lisa finshed her trip to Canada bonking a tree...don't worry she's fine!

The K3 terrain has an amazing potential, steep long faces, cliffs, pillows and tree runs...due to the stong wind the days before our arrive we couldn't ride the big lines, but we kept us busy with drops, pillows and tree runs.

Big shout out to Dave, Carl and Matt at K3. We had an amazing time with you guys.
