The first season of True Color Films comes to an end and a new one is just a couple of weeks away.
During last winter Nicholas Wolken, Lisa Filzmoser, Alex Fischer and René Schnöller spent a couple of days shredding the beautiful Ötz valley.
They had a grate time scoping, slashing, jumping, tweaking, grilling and laughing together.

We, Lisa Filzmoser, Alvaro Vogel, Filippo Kratter and Rene Schnöller, went to Japan to slash the powder of the rising sun.

Check out what we found, rode and ate during the twelve days on the Hokkaido island.

Snow conditions went from 3 days of powder to heavy and wet. But never the less we had a great time.

1-Where is your home?

Good question, I grew up in Lugano in Switzerland and that is my “home” and it always will be, but since four years I’m living in Innsbruck (Austria)
and this is the place where I always go after a trip and where I have all my stuff.

2-Who introduced you to snowboarding?

My father introduced me to snowboarding when I was 10 years old.
He started riding a season before me and at that time I always wanted to do what he was doing. 

3-What was your highlight of this season?

Ridingwise wise was making it through the day without popping out my shoulder and as a
personal achievement getting True Color Films running.

4-What was your lowlight of this season?

During the first day of filming for the project, I popped out my shoulder after already
having surgery done on it twice. That had a big affected on my season and the project, since we are only five riders.

5-How is studying and living in Innsbruck?

Studying in Innsbruck is perfect because I have the chance to study and ride everyday and it`s a really nice city.

6-Who is your favorite rider?

I don’t have a favorite one but I really like Nico Müller’s style, Mäh’s style, Mu’s style,
Danny Davis’s style and LNP’s style… as well as the all True Colors shredder, Nicho,René, Lisa and Filippo,
they all have a smooth style.

7-Tell me a fact nobody knows about the riders in the True Color Films crew?

Everyone has some secret, let me think for a second… did you know Filippo is a champion at Magic,
but I guess everyone already knows that, René used to ride bigfoot, Lisa is an amazing artist and Nicholas
has two toes growing together same as mine.
 

8-Where is the most interesting place you have been?

This season I went to Japan for the first time and it was amazing: the people are so nice,
the culture is amazing and the snow is even better. 

9-Which question you wanna ask yourself? What’s going on with your shoulder?

Four weeks ago I got my third surgery, everything went well, now I’m full on rehab,
and after the summer break I’ll be back on snow. I’m really looking forward to a good season without injuries. 

10-Whats your favorite soccer club?

The Champions League winner of this season F.C. INTERnazionale.

Tell me something that nobody knows about you?

I was a ski racer for 8 years!

Best Trip of the year?

I don’t know which was the best trip, but Japan impressed me a lot. People there are awesome!!!
